What’s the best thing about being a performer? “Being passionate about our job…we call it play. Dressing up like the doting grandma’s that we really are. However, we are also grandmas that wear spandex and tennis shoes!! We love it as the show heats up and audience is really with us! We enjoy the extraordinary people we meet and celebrating with them and their communities. Some of our best material comes from talking to people from our audience before and after our shows.”

Favorite Hobbies? “We enjoy being with our husbands (we each have one husband!), kids and grandkids. We both cherish moments with family and friends. We are active with music and worship leadership in our churches. We both can still proudly “get up on one” water ski (slalom). Tina is a snowboard mama and Lena whooshes and shooshes on downhill skis. We are a coupla “antique gardeners”…been there, done that, still blooming.”

Any unique facts about your act?
“Lena’s loon call, Tina’s rooster impersonation…especially the strut. The older we get, the easier it is to look like and become Tina and Lena. In fact, our real husbands wonder if we are actually turning into Tina and Lena. You betcha! Nice job, eh?!”
