This three piece variety trio will knock your socks off! Fast Facts about Slip Twister In 1997 Slip Twister guitarist Paul Diethelm caught the ear of blues/rock phenom Jonny Lang. Lang offered Diethelm a fulltime position in his band and thus began an exciting eight years of touring the world. He appeared with Lang multiple times on national T.V.shows hosted by Letterman, Leno and O'Brien and shared the stage with rock and blues legends Aerosmith, B.B King, Sting and the Rolling Stones. Diethelm's song writing skills were also recognized and acclaimed as he landed the hit single title track on Jonny Lang's platinum selling and Grammy nominated release "Wander this World". In 2002, Diethelm was nominated for a MN Music award in the "Best Guitarist" category, and is regularly sought after as a studio player; appearing on tracks with Eric Clapton, B.B King and Jimmy Vaughan. Slip Twister remained active all the while, recording and performing live whenever possible. Jay O'Donnell (drums, vocals),Mike Zeleny (bass, vocals) and Paul Diethelm (guitar, vocals) have the uncanny ability to disarm a room, get people involved, and get the party started. |
