Fast Facts About De'Anna As a young girl De’Anna possessed a natural ability for demanding attention. Dancing, and performing musicals with her sister in the living room of her family’s Southern California home became a typical Saturday night. All she needed was a platform, and a means to channel that infectious spirit. De’Anna is often asked how one decides to make Stage Hypnotism a career? The answer lies in fate itself as she began working with a well known Comedy Hypnotist in her early twenties as a stage assistant. “Just for fun” would soon become a successful career path and a full circle moment. “At first glance, a Hypnosis show was a fun, feel good time. As I studied deeper into Hypnosis I discovered it was a means to something much greater. Having people clucking like chickens was the furthest thing from my mind”, says De’Anna. De’Anna reflects on her teenage years as a time that she struggled with personal self esteem issues. Drawing from those life lessons her show has catapulted into an “experience” for people to step outside their norm, and be themselves without fears, issues, and inhibitions. “The show is a fulfilling, and amazing experience. The audience members embrace the creative imagination of the volunteers through Hypnotic situational comedy, and applaud them for it. What an awesome moment for everyone. Many people don’t even remember what they did, but they always remember the incredible feeling it gave them. Facilitating people to become fantastic and funny on stage is a great feeling. I am a better person because of my show, and I appreciate the opportunity of being a Hypnotist”, De’Anna says. Continual advanced education in the field of Hypnosis enhances De’Anna’s nationally recognized certification in Clinical Hypnotherapy; with specialized certifications in Sports Improvement, Weight Loss Therapy, Hypnosis Natural Childbirth, and NeuroLinguistic Programming. She is a member in good standing with the Association of Clinical Hypnotist Examiners, the National Guild of Hypnotists, and the National Speakers Association. Corporations such as EMC, AFLAC, and Harley Davidson are amongst the many that have enlisted De’Anna’s talents in inspiring their employees. While De’Anna, and her team produce dozens of seminars per year motivating individuals to bring out the best in themselves in topics on weight loss, quitting smoking and stepping outside your comfort zone. The Department of Health and Human Services has been a proud supporter of De’Anna’s SmokeFree Rally; a free to the public program that has been welcomed throughout North America and the U.S. Marine Corps in the U.S. and Japan. De’Anna has opened for headline entertainers such as Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, The OakRidge Boys, Chubby Checker, Billy Ray Cyrus, and many others. The U.S. Army and the Marine Corps have welcomed her both nationally and overseas; entertaining the troops for more than eight years. Professionally, De’Anna has aspirations to continue writing for her work in Hypnosis, and to expand her public speaking engagements. At home, she enjoys living in the mountain town of Lake Arrowhead, California, and indulging in the beautiful outdoors. She attributes her success to having a great partner in business and in life with her husband Troy, and the many joys that come from their two sons, Zach and Vasco. Hiking is said to be her “favorite form of mediation”, while running trails, Pilates, kayaking, and working out are her secrets to feeling fit.
